Blackwell’s Bookshop Celebrates 60 Years of City Lights Publishing in Oxford

On Wednesday, June 3, Blackwell’s Bookshop in Oxford, a wonderful bookstore located on Broad Street in Oxford, put together a program to celebrate 60 years of City Lights Publishing.

The event featured local poets reading works from Jack Kerouac, Allen Ginsberg, Gregory Corso and Lawrence Ferlinghetti. Books from the Pocket Poets Series were on display as well. Find pictures of the event below and follow Blackwell’s Bookshop on Twitter and Facebook while you’re at it.

Special thanks to Blackwell’s Bookshop for such a great event and also to Perseus Books UK for spreading the word.
